In recent years, the development of green buildings in China has been rapid, stemming from a growing social consensus on the development of green buildings and energy-efficient buildings. To vigorously develop new energy-efficient building materials and promote the development of the green building industry, the "17th China (Shanghai) International Exhibition of Architectural Decoration Coatings and Chemical Building Materials" was held at the Shanghai New International Expo Center from July 14th to 16th, 2021.

In recent years, the development of green buildings in China has been rapid, stemming from a growing societal consensus on the development of green buildings and energy-efficient construction. Starting in 2019, all affordable housing projects in municipalities directly under the Central Government, cities with independent planning status, and provincial capital cities will fully implement green building standards. Green and energy-efficient building materials will be a strong guarantee for the application of green buildings, and the development of the building materials industry relies on technological innovation. Building materials production equipment, as the main carrier of technological innovation, plays an important role in guiding and promoting the development of the building materials industry through technological upgrades and replacements. To vigorously develop new energy-efficient building materials and promote the development of the green building industry, the "17th China (Shanghai) International Exhibition of Architectural Decoration Coatings and Chemical Building Materials," jointly initiated and hosted by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Building Materials Industry Branch, Shanghai Building Materials Industry Association, and Shanghai Modern International Exhibition Co., Ltd., was held at the Shanghai New International Expo Center from July 14 to 16, 2021.
